Dive site: To reach Shaab Marsa Alam we drive 75 minutes by bus to the south to reach the harbor of Marsa Alam and then we go 15 minutes by boat towards the open sea.
Structure: Shaab Marsa Alam is a large semi-circled reef in the form of a “bean”, surrounded by a sandy bottom, full of rock- and reef formations. Especially the part in the north-east is home to an amazingly rich coral garden with a huge diversity of marine life. It is not uncommon to encounter reef sharks there. If there is some current you can also be lucky to see black tip sharks or even the famous longimanus crossing.
In the south, in the lagoon you can find a small wreck with a length of about 25 meters in about 17 m depth. It sank over 20 years ago.  Here you can often find schools of spinner dolphins resting or playing.
