Salem Express is located in the southeast direction of Makadi Bay. By boat, you can reach it in about 3 hours and 20 minutes.
The wreck is a depth of 12 - 32m. The length is 115m and the width is 17m. The car ferry sunk at a stormy night on the way back to Safaga on 14.12.1991. Since 1997 it is allowed to dive there. At the hulk, you will find several raspberry corals, huge soft corals at the smoke pipe as well as some sea needles and grouper.
