The dolphins typically use the bay in the morning to rest and socialize, before heading to deeper water to feed later in the day. How Is Dolphin House Divided?
The protected area is managed by the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency and split into three zones:
- Anchor zone — where boats moor, no direct dolphin contact
- Snorkel zone — shallower area, ideal for snorkelers wanting to observe dolphins respectfully from a distance
- Dive zone — deeper area (5-20m) for certified divers
