Elphinstone Reef
Dive site: To reach Elphinstone we drive 40 minutes by bus to the south to reach the harbor and then 15 minutes by speedboat to the open sea.
Structure: Elphinstone (also called Abu Hamra) is one of the top 10 dive sites of the world and because of the location in the open sea and the current one of the more challenging ones.
It has an amazing 700 m long reef wall with plateaus in the middle of the sea and an impressingly diverse marine life. The wall is covered with hard and soft corals and reaches up to 600 m down. It is also famous for any kind of big fish.

Level: Not for beginners, minimum 50 logged dives and Advanced Open Water Diver certification
