Gamul Al Kabeir is reachable in 16 minutes by speedboat from our base.
A round reef emerging from 15m encircles a lagoon that opens to the west. Three pinnacles line up to the north.
A large school of barracuda normally hang around just underneath the surface. There are big eyed emperorfish and snappers circling the pinnacles. The sharp-eyed diver examining the sea grass might encounter a sea moth. Eagle rays and white tip reef sharks are not unusual; even dugong sightings have been reported here.
